Vintage Fashion Fair at Bath Assembly Rooms

On Sunday I was working at a Vintage Fashion Fair at Bath Assembly Rooms. A beautiful venue for a Fashion Fair. My stall was in the Ballroom with its wonderful chandeliers. There was plenty of space for everything and the day got away to a good start with plenty of selling to other dealers, some just buying and some buying and selling.
Alan and Miguel were there from France with their usual vast array of mouthwatering textiles and threads and trimmings. I bought some more of my beloved red and white ticking and a paisley shawl from him. The shawl is damaged and I am going to use it to make bags if I can bear to take the scissors to it.
The day turned out to be a success which was more than I had anticipated. This was my first Fair since coming back from holiday and I am now well and truly back into work mode. I am busy listing things on to Ebay and I have a customer coming up from Cornwall next week to have a look at the new linens Linda and I brought back from France last week. My next trip is to Stroud Rag Market on 14th March. I am looking forward to this as it will give me a chance to clear out my workroom cupboards of all the things I have gone off and will never use!!
